Governance

HL7 Australia is an association incorporated as HL7 Australia Inc. in the ACT. It is administered by a Board consisting of the chairman, treasurer, secretary and four ordinary members elected each year by the membership from the membership.

HL7 Co-Chairs

The Standards Development work of HL7 is done by working groups. Australia has had leadership roles in working groups since the early days of HL7 Australia members continue to volunteer and provide their much appreciated expertise

HL7 Awardees & Fellows

Three members have been recognised as HL7 Volunteer of the Year, the highest accolade bestowed by HL7.org. In addition Australians have been prominent in the governance of HL7 International.
